Welcome Party - Fall '19
This event was organized for new and old members alike, to join us to start the semester with enthusiasm and a sense of community.
Eid ul-Adha BBQ and celebration '19
PSA organized the Bakra Eid party to bring together the community on this joyous occasion. It was a fun-filled event with lots of triple huggings and plenty of delicious Pakistani home-cooked food to go around!
Eid ul-Fitr '19
PSA organized a BBQ party to celebrate Eid ul Fitr with the Pakistani community, marking the end of Ramadan
Iftar Dinner '19
PSA held its annual iftar dinner to get together and enjoy some delicious Pakistani food and to celebrate Ramadan and the Pakistani culture.
Farewell - Fall '19
PSA organized this event to bid farewell to our graduating members and wish them the best for their future endeavours. There were fun activities, games and a lot of reminiscing as we celebrated a special milestone in their lives.
Cultural Festival
PSA took part in the Cultural festival organized by GTIA. There were events such as the language cafe and a cultural showcase to get to know various cultures. We represented our vibrant and unique Pakistani perspective on language, dresses and more. The event included cultural dances, music and the cultural and linguistic backgrounds .
Super Sixes Tournament 2019
12th - 13th April 2019
PSA organized our annual Super Sixes cricket tournament. A total of five teams participated in this tournament which was conducted over a period of two days. One of our Pakistani teams went on to win the final beating all teams along the way! Many congratulations to Abdul Lateef Haamid, Adil Shah, Arslan Shehzad, Mian Usman, Muhammad Zubair and Osama Waqar Bhatti.
Cabinet Handover 2019

PSA organized our annual cabinet handover ceremony to introduce PSA's executive board for 2019-20. The new president shared his vision and plans for PSA.
Trip to Savannah 2019

PSA organized a day trip to Savannah and Tybee Island. The day was filled with sightseeing, exciting activities and delicious meals.

Farewell Fall 2018

PSA organized a farewell party for all its graduating members. Together with these brilliant people, we cherished and celebrated their precious moments in Georgia Tech. We wish our graduating seniors the best of luck for all endeavors in life!
Saqafat '18
7th November 2018
For Saqafat, we invited the entire Georgia Tech community in this event to experience and learn about the Pakistani culture and taste our famous cuisines. Our guests included Jeremy McLellan, Todd Shea and Muzaffar Choudhry.
We also had a cultural corner displaying the traditional clothes for both men and women. Stalls of henna designers, colorful bangles and Pakistani Art and Urdu calligraphy made attendees' experience much more enriching. We also had a Pakistan which was designed to share information about Pakistani culture, demography & famous personalities.
Pakistan vs India - Asia Cup - 2018

International Coffee Hour 2018

We, along with Turkish Student Organization hosted OIE’s first International Coffee Hour of the semester. There were plenty of games, traditional snacks, music and fortune-telling! The event was attended by students, staff and faculty.

Iftar 2018

Pakistan Student Association held its second annual Iftar dinner. The purpose of the event was to bring together different communities from Georgia Tech to celebrate Ramadan at Iftar with a touch of Pakistani food and culture. The event was held at the Bill Moore Student Success Center (Presidents Suite) at Georgia Tech near Bobby Dodds Stadium.
Graduation
4th May 2018
12 of our PSA members graduated from Georgia Tech in Spring 2018. These include Fatima Hafsa, Fahad Razzaq, Amir Shafiq, Shahmeer Omar, Mishele Ijaz, Shafaat Chattha, Mujeeb Ur Rehman, Nauman Ahad, Rida Shazli, Ahmed Usman, Fizza H Khan and Hassan Waqar Gilani. Congratulations everyone!

From Gol Gappa contest, musical chairs and giving out titles to tasty food (Biryani!), this event was a massive success. We wish our graduating seniors the best of luck for all endeavors in life!
Cricket match: PSA@GT vs PSA@GSU

Pakistan Student Association at Georgia State University organized two friendly cricket matches with us. Both teams thoroughly enjoyed their time. The matches were hosted in the Stamps Field at Georgia Tech. We won both matches!
